Narrative

An employee was working in an excavation, connecting horizontal boring drill attachments. The boring machine kicks out soil while it is operating underground. This soil was being scooped up by an excavator when the excavator's bucket bumped the wall of the excavation, causing a wall of soil to fall onto the employee. The employee sustained a fractured ankle and pelvis.
