Narrative

An employee fell 43 inches from a crane platform while removing a pin from the boom. The pin weighs about 50 lbs. and the employee lost his balance and fell to the concrete floor, hitting his head. He suffered two fractured vertebrae in the back and one fractured vertebra in the neck.
