An employee was removing three guards to access the adjustment knuckles on a conveyor belt. While the employee was observing the belt, he fell forward toward the conveyor. His left arm landed on top of one of the conveyor rollers and was pulled under it, sustaining a compound fracture. The employee was hospitalized.
