Narrative

On January 13, 2020, an employee was operating a clip jig machine. The employee operated the lever to lower a hold-down fixture, placed clips on the part, and then operated the lever again to lower another fixture that pressed the clips into the part. The employee's right index finger was caught in the point of operation and the tip was amputated.
