Employees had been laying down fire cloth in the engine room to prepare for pipe fitting and welding repairs. An employee fell approximately 18-20 feet into the hull of a floating maritime academy training vessel and was found lying unconscious. The employee was hospitalized with injuries including gashes to the head and thigh requiring stitches and severe hematomas.
