An employee's hand slipped while changing a belt on an air handling unit. The employee's left pinky, ring, and middle fingers were lacerated and fractured as they were caught between the belt and the pulley. The unit was powered off at the time of the incident and a lock out/tag out procedure was followed prior to starting work on the unit.
