Narrative

Employees were laying down an 8" drill collar from the catwalk using the main rig hoist. During this, the injured employee was placing a 3x6 wooden board under the collar. When the collar came in contact with the board, it caused the end of the board to rise up, partially degloving the employee's left shin that required a skin graft.
