Narrative

An employee was hauling granite on a flatbed truck and stopped at a truck stop for a routine check of the load. The employee noticed one of the chains was becoming loose and used a snap binder to secure the load. The employee went up on the flatbed to tighten the chain when the snap binder snapped back up and hit the employee in the face, causing a fractured skull and brain bleed. The employee was found unconscious on the ground.
