Narrative

An employee exited his truck to assess the job site and work to be done. When he reached the edge of the area excavated for the work, the ground gave way causing him to fall into the excavation. The employee was impaled by a piece of rebar. It entered his left armpit and went through his chest muscles and up to his collar bone area.
