Narrative

An employee approached an I-beam in order to start welding on it. The I-beam had been set on the ground with an overhead crane and unhooked from the rigging before the crane traveled away. The beam then rolled and landed on the employee's right foot. The employee sustained broken bones and deep lacerations to their right foot. The employee was hospitalized for surgery and wound cleaning.
