Narrative

An employee was working as a helper on a resaw line when a cant became skewed on the live roller deck, causing the cant to stop moving. The employee stepped onto the deck and corrected the alignment of the cant. He turned and was stepping down when he slipped, causing him to fall onto his right hip/leg. He fractured his right femur, requiring hospitalization and surgery.
