Narrative

Employees were installing a 25-foot steel column that had a hitch to a steel base plate. As they tried to put the base plate on the foundation with a telehandler, it slipped out of the nylon sling. The hitch struck an employee on the left lower leg between the knee and ankle, causing a compound fracture.
