Narrative

An employee was cleaning a hydraulic conveyor roller while a large steel pipe was on the conveyor. The employee's right hand was caught between the conveyor roller and the pipe resulting in amputation of the employee's thumb and lacerations to the index finger and palm. The employee was hospitalized.
