Narrative

An employee was using a hoist to lower the lid of a center drain mold onto the mold body. The employee stepped back from the production platform onto the mold mount to try and gain better control of the lid when he fell and struck his torso on the side of the platform. The employee suffered fractured ribs and a bruised lung and torso, requiring hospitalization.
