A mechanic was troubleshooting an electrical issue with a machine that was causing trouble with startup and stopping. At the same time, another employee was cleaning the machine rolls. The roller plates started up and caught the mechanic's left middle and index fingers between the rollers, resulting in amputation injuries to the fingers.
