Narrative

An employee was checking an HVAC unit in a ceiling. The employee closed the valve to the supply line, then began to remove the valve from the line. Once the valve was loose, hot water pressure caused the line to shoot out from the unit. Hot water caused third-degree burns to the employee's left hand and arm. He was hospitalized.
