Narrative

Employees were removing an exterior wall panel from a building. As the panel was being lowered down by a winch and a tagline, it hit a swing stage scaffold and broke into several pieces. The panel fell about 15 feet to the scaffold below and struck an AKT employee. The employee suffered two broken ribs, an internal laceration, and a puncture wound on the side of the chest.
