Narrative

On June 22, 2021, an employee was attempting to open an elevator dump pit. When the employee stepped on a brake that was holding up a metal bar, the bar came down forcefully and struck the employee on the left side of the chest. The employee suffered internal bleeding and a possible tear to the aorta. The employee was hospitalized.
