An employee was walking on the main wooden beam inside the attic of a newly built one-story house. When he stepped onto the cross member beam, it gave way. He lost his balance, hit an extension ladder, and fell 10 feet to the concrete floor in the garage. He suffered a broken tailbone and was hospitalized.
