An employee was under a trailer, looking for damage or loose parts in its walking floor mechanism. The walking floor was engaged while the employee's right hand was on a stationary cross-member. Their hand was caught between the stationary member and the member that moved the floor. The top of the hand was crushed resulting in injury to the whole hand, except the thumb.
