At about 10:30 a.m. on February 16, 2022, three Fagioli, Inc., employees were offloading a series of 10-ton counterweights from a trailer and setting them on a tray. A crane began to lift one pair of counterweights, but it began to swing back toward another pile of counterweights still on the trailer. An employee's left leg was caught between the two piles of counterweights; the leg muscle was crushed and the employee was hospitalized.
