Narrative

An employee was working as a machine operator on a dry line running 3-pound bags. The powder the employee was working with made a mess and the employee lifted up the conveyor with his left hand when his right hand got caught in the conveyor's gears, resulting in a finger amputation. The conveyor was in operation at the time of the incident.
