Narrative

At about 4:25 a.m. on April 11, 2022, an employee was using a powered industrial truck (PIT) to load a pallet of mail onto a 7-ton truck. As she was pressing the button to bring the lift up, the PIT moved and crushed her foot. She suffered a broken left ankle and was hospitalized.
