Narrative

During installation of a discharge valve, the injured employee was leaning on the valve while employee 2 used a pry bar to help line up the valve housing with the valve. When the valve moved, the injured employee's hand was caught between the valve housing and valve facing resulting in an amputation to their right middle fingertip.
