Narrative

An employee was painting in an elevated aerial lift on the side of a roadway inside a barricaded containment. A truck traveling through the construction zone swerved into the containment, hitting part of the aerial lift. This caused the employee to be thrown against the lift's guardrails. The employee was hospitalized with fractures to the right-side ribs and contusions to his hip and back.
