Narrative

At 9:30 p.m. on June 6, 2022, an employee was in a trench, using a roller machine to compact dirt on top of newly installed sewer pipes. He was trying to back up to turn around when one of the machine's back wheels went up the side of the embankment. It started to roll and the employee jumped off; it then rolled on its side and pinned him underneath. He suffered a facial fracture and a head wound that required staples.
