Narrative

Two employees were lowering a large, round carbon part (weighing about 75 pounds) from a lathe using an engine lift and strap. They stopped lowering it about 6 inches from the floor. The part then slipped from the strap and trapped one employee's little finger against the floor. The corner of the part amputated the employee's fingertip.
