Narrative

Employees were preparing a main fractionator pump for blinding when the case drain developed a leak. Butane and alkylate were released and the vapors reached an ignition source resulting in a fire. Two employees sustained burns to the upper chest and face. One employee was treated and released and one employee was hospitalized.
