Narrative

An employee was trying to clear a spent sulfuric acid line. As he tried to remove a flange on the line, there was a sudden pressure release and acid sprayed onto his face and neck; he then tripped and fell. He suffered chemical burns to the face and neck and a broken ankle/lower leg.
