An employee was using a forklift to remove a pallet from a container and place it on the ground. After doing so, the employee put the forklift in park and pulled the hand brake before getting out. He walked to retrieve the pallet when the forklift jerked back and rolled onto the employee's right foot. The employee was hospitalized.
