Narrative

An employee was installing oriented strand board (OSB) along the outer edge of a platform. He left to replace the battery in his cordless saw. When he returned, he stepped onto a piece of OSB and fell approximately 5 feet onto an exposed stair stringer. The employee was hospitalized with two fractured vertebrae in the neck.
