A driver was moving a shipment with a pallet jack inside his trailer. He turned the pallet and began pushing it toward the door to place on the liftgate of the truck. The pallet jack dropped the load, causing the lowering lever to release and impact the employee's right ring fingertip. The fingertip was broken and the fingernail and nailbed were removed.
