Narrative

On February 6, 2023, at approximately 5:00 p.m., an employee was inspecting a hoist. While the employee was conducting the wire rope inspection, his glove was caught on the wire and his finger was pulled into the pinch point between the drum and wire. The employee suffered an amputation of his left index fingertip.
