Narrative

An employee was retrieving a charged battery from the charging station using the magnet arm on a battery changer. The employee leaned toward the battery to ensure it was properly aligned before engaging the shuttle. The employee then leaned back to engage the controls with his right hand while his left hand remained over the front edge of the battery changer. When the shuttle engaged, his left middle finger was crushed.
