Narrative

A lift truck operator was unstacking pallets of boxes in the middle portion of a railcar by hand in order to be able to enter the railcar with a forklift and remove the remaining pallets on the left and right sides of the railcar. A pallet on the right side of the railcar had shifted during transportation. A box fell from this pallet onto the employee resulting in possible fractures to their neck and right leg.
