Narrative

On April 10, 2023, at 9:30 a.m., an employee was carrying rope strapping in their left hand while operating a forklift. While the lift was moving, the strapping fell out of the compartment to the floor. It then wound around the forklift's wheel and pulled the employee's left hand and fingers from the steering wheel. The employee sustained a laceration to his middle finger that required hospitalization.
