An employee was on the sixth or seventh step of an 10-foot A-frame ladder running electrical wire though a conduit. The wire became stuck in the conduit and the employee tugged on the wire. As the wire broke loose, the employee lost his balance and fell to the concrete surface below. The employee sustained two wrist fractures, contusions to the elbows and knees, and a laceration over the right eye that required stitches. The employee had surgery on the left wrist.
