An employee was sweeping near a conveyor. The conveyor grabbed the employee's push broom and pulled it in; the machine then caught both of the employee's hands. The employee suffered broken bones, lacerations, and contusions and was hospitalized, receiving surgery and stitches. The conveyor's guard had been moved away at the time of the incident.
