An employee was preparing a load on a semi-trailer for a delivery to a field location. After putting the straps over the totes, he descended the trailer. While descending, his pant leg was caught on the mud flap frame, which caused him to fall and strike his head on the ground. The employee lost consciousness and sustained a laceration and a fractured skull.
