An employee was working on a 24-inch, 500-pound nozzle roll that was set up on rolling jack stands. He stopped to roll the shell around when one end slipped off the jack stand. His right middle and ring fingers were crushed between the inside of the shell and the roller on the jack stand. A finger was also lacerated.
