On August 18, 2023, at approximately 9:00 a.m., an employee was pulling product sheets from a line in the extrusion department when the machine jammed. The employee attempted to extract the trapped products when a cutter on the machine contacted their left hand, resulting in an amputation of the tip of their thumb and a laceration to their index finger.
