Narrative

An employee was using a hydraulic plastic molding press when one of the mold pieces got stuck in the machine. The employee went to retrieve the piece and one of the plates came down on top of their hand. The controls were then activated causing the plate to crush the employee's hand. This resulted in the amputation of a finger.
