An employee was transporting metal parts on a mobile cart. As he was pushing the cart up an inclined ramp, the top metal part, weighing approximately 17-20 pounds, slid backward onto his left hand. The employee sustained a fracture with an avulsion to his middle finger and lacerations to his index and ring fingers.
