An employee was sorting magnetic material and placing the material back into the designated storage bin after separating each piece with cardboard that is roughly 1-inch thick. The employee was placing a piece of metal back into the box when the cardboard moved. The employee's fingertip was crushed between two magnetic pieces of metal resulting in a partial amputation.
