Narrative

An employee was cleaning his work area and noticed small pieces of cut-off lumber wedged at the end of the conveyor belt. He tried to dislodge the wood when it slipped and came loose, causing his right ring finger to get caught under the edge of the conveyor belt. He suffered a partial fingertip amputation.
