Narrative

An employee was opening the lids on top of rail cars to prepare for grain. The employee fell from the rail car approximately 14 feet and landed on the ground. The employee was hospitalized with fractures to their scapula, C7 vertebra, multiple thoracic vertebrae, sternum, foot, and three toes. The employee also sustained a concussion, bruised lung, pulled abdominal muscles, and an injury to their left middle finger.
