An employee was setting up a bagger machine. The employee noticed something was off where the glue application takes place. They opened the hinged cover and went to unjam or remove glue residue on a stationary piece of the machine when their left ring finger was caught between a rotating blade and the ink tray, resulting in a fingertip amputation. The machine was in operation at the time of the incident.
