Narrative

On January 26, 2024, an employee was setting up a vertical turret lathe to bore the inside diameter of a steel ring. The lathe activated, and the part (a steel ring about 1-7/8 inches thick and 29-30 inches wide) flew out of it and struck the employee. The employee suffered a broken pelvis and head abrasions.
