An employee was using a gas-powered saw to cut a wire strap from a bundle of rebar in the back of a truck. When the saw was above his shoulder level, gasoline leaked from it onto his hand and body. The sparks created by the saw then ignited the gasoline, and he suffered a third-degree burn to his left hand and second-degree burns to his left leg. He was hospitalized.
