Narrative

On March 14, 2024, an employee was using a stair climber to remove a large battery charger to ground level. While moving up the stairs, the climber machine gave out and he lost control of the charger. The employee's left middle finger got caught between one of the stairs and the charger, resulting in a fingertip amputation.
